Silly Google
Doing some keyword research for HireAHelper and came across this interesting report. The top three domains that Google sends it traffic to are at yahoo.com, amazon.com, and wikipedia.org. Google.com ranks 6th on the list for having content people are finding through their own site! It's like in Miracle on 34th Street, when Macy's starts sending customers to other stores, as an "act of kindness" to make sure their customers found what they were looking for...

Super interesting. I would like to know more about that list though. "Semrush.com" fails to clairify when the survey was taken, who took the survey, and whether that traffic is total or per some unit of time.
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing that's got to be per day. Maybe an average over the last month? Or year? True that knowing the details would make the info more interesting.
